About Us - FAQs - Affiliations ABOUT US We provide whatever type of claims handling that you should require, from task assignments to full adjustments to litigation management. We cover areas from rural farming communities to midsized towns and cities to large metropolitan areas. On the liability side, we excel at negotiating settlements with plaintiff’s counsel, and, on the property side, we are very comfortable dealing with the most aggressive public adjusters. For emergency cases, our adjusters can be reached twenty-four hours a day by our answering services, which can locate the duty adjuster or branch manager immediately. All of our adjusters are seasoned claims people, with an average experience of fifteen years field experience. Our property adjusters are equipped with the latest property estimating systems and we use MS&B for our total loss evaluations and to determine replacement cost coverage compliance. Our home office is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and assignments can be sent to the home office or to the individual office handling the territory where the claim is located. Please refer to Locations on our Home Page. We interface electronically with our clients, to the degree that the client desires this form of communication. We receive assignments electronically, and we report electronically to those clients who request it. We provide digital photos on all claims. Toensmeier Adjustment Service, Inc. was founded in 1947 and is a privately held corporation with all stock being held by President Don Maury, Sr. We feel that we are large enough to provide a variety of claims services throughout a wide geographic area but we are also small enough to be attuned to the wishes and requirements of our individual clients. We have many clients who have been with us for decades, and we will be happy to provide a list of references if so desired.
